Know Before You Go
Check-in and Check-out.
Guest check-in is guaranteed by 4 pm each day. If your suite is clean, inspected and ready for an early check-in, we will be happy to provide you with immediate access. If you arrive and your suite is not ready to be occupied, we will take down your cell phone number, let you check your luggage with the front desk, give you access to the resort amenities, and call you as soon as your suite is ready. You must be 21 years of age to rent a unit. Proper ID required at time of check-in.
At check-in you will be asked to confirm your check-out date. Check-out should be no later than 11 am on your day of departure. We may be able to extend the courtesy of a late check-out if our occupancy is low for the next day. In most cases, however, we need you to check-out on time so we have an opportunity to clean the suite properly for the guest arriving that day. If the room is available we offer the following late check-out and fee's:
Any stay after 3PM you will be charged a full nights room and tax.
Should you decide to check out before your scheduled departure date, you will be charged the nightly rate and tax for one additional night.
Please do not discard room key. We would appreciate you dropping it off at the front desk upon check-out.
All units are non-smoking. Please use the outside balcony with the sliding door to the unit closed, or a designated smoking area outside of the hotel. A $250.00 cleaning fee will be applied if smoke is detected.
Pets are not allowed in suites managed by Patton Hospitality. If you violate this policy you will be charged a sanitation fee of $250.00.
In an effort to minimize your nightly room rate and to simultaneously provide you with more privacy, the resort does not include daily housekeeping services in your room rate. We can provide you with housekeeping services on an “a la carte” basis. For a menu of housekeeping options, please contact the PBX operator at our resort. For your convenience, washers and dryers are located in each suite along with a small starter box of laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets , toilet tissue and paper towels .
Tidy or Mid-Week Cleaning Services Available.
During your stay here we do have house cleaning services provided on an “a la carte basis."
Our Tidy Service includes: fresh towels, trash service and making beds with your current bedding.
The costs are as follows: One-Bedroom -$15.00, Two-Bedroom-$20.00 for each day you use the service.
Our Mid-Week Service refreshes your supplies, towels and bedding. The cost for this service is as follows:
One-Bedroom-$30.00 and Two-Bedroom- $40.00 for each day you use the service.
Your nightly room rate does not include our mandatory resort fee which is currently set at $12.25 per night. For your convenience this rate covers the costs associated with a bundle of extras including 1) complimentary shuttle service to Epcot's Ticket and Transportation Center and Seaworld. 2) free parking, 3) free internet in units, WiFi available in the main lobby and poolside . 4) free local calls, 5) access to the fitness centers, 6) free incoming and outgoing faxes, and 7) free newspapers in the lobby. Also available are a limited number of safety deposit boxes. Please inquire at the front desk upon check-in.
Many ask us why we don’t simply include the resort fee in with the nightly rate. Please let us take this opportunity to explain why we do not. The Blue Heron Beach Resort is a condominium hotel. As such, each of our suites is privately owned. The revenue generated through the nightly rate is therefore divided between the management company and the owner of the suite occupied. The amenities and services included in the resort fee are provided by, and paid for by the management company. For example, the complimentary shuttle service provided to the selected Theme Parks is paid for by Patton Hospitality. So, revenue generated by the resort fee needs to be retained by the management company only to help pay for this service.
What to Bring
Our suites are furnished with hair dryers, a broom & dust pan, iron & ironing board, and a starter kit of small bath amenities (shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion) and small box of laundry detergent. Since we do not offer daily housekeeping, these items are not replenished during your stay. We also provide a small starter kit of amenities for your kitchen, including dish washing soap, a roll of paper towels, and a dishwashing cloth. These items are not replenished during your stay. Kitchen utensils and cookery items include sauce pans, frying pans, roasting pan, a knife block set, serving spoons and forks, a spatula, serving bowls, platter, baking tray, corkscrew, colander, water pitcher, cutting board, etc.
High chairs and Pack'N' Play's are available at an additional charge. Please inquire with the agent when making your reservation or at the front desk.
We do not permit soliciting or the distribution of handbills or flyers on our property. This is an issue that affects every area hotel. Despite our best efforts, from time to time you may notice a restaurant flyer or menu that has been placed under your door. We recommend that you do not order food from these establishments. Many of these vendors operate illegally and without a license from the health department. Guest services can provide you with several safe and reliable delivery options.
If you feel you will need contingency items during your stay, you may want to consider bringing some of these things with you. Or, if you feel you would like to have a blender, or toaster oven, etc. while you are here, you may want to bring yours from home if you are driving here. Please remember that the units are privately owned condos that the owner makes available for rental for your enjoyment.
The Blue Heron Beach Resort accepts packages for all of our guests. Packages are stored in the reservations office by number until picked up by the guests at Guest Services. A package handling fee of $1.00 will be charged to the guest per package. Once a guest departs the hotel all packages are returned to sender. We do not hold packages after a guest departs.
